UAE to name in Guinness Book in New Year

Different countries welcome the New Year in different ways which being remained in the discussion because of welcoming and celebrating in different ways.

This year, all preparations have been completed to welcome 2020 at Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) in the United Arab Emirates and by this, the Middle East country is going to register its name in the Guinness Book.
It is reported that 4-kilometer wide fireworks will be displayed together by throwing 190 drones through the ultramodern aircraft that will set the world's longest fireworks record. Currently, this record holds in Japan, they displayed about 5 and a half kilometers wide firework.
The main center of Al Marjan Island has been set in preparation for the New Year. Fireworks will be accompanied by reflections of international quality music and special installations in the UAE.

ছবি: প্রাচীন তেঁতুল গাছ ৫০০ বছর ধরে ঠাঁই দাড়িয়ে আছে একটি তেঁতুল গাছ। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের নাচোলের পাঁচশ বছরের পুরানো একটি তেঁতুল গাছ এখনো মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ শহর থেকে ২৪ কিলোমিটার দূরে নাচোল উপজেলার বরেন্দ্র ভূমির শুড়লা গ্রামে অবস্থিত এ গাছটি। স্থানীয়দের জন্য শুধু ঐতিহ্যের নিদর্শনই নয় গাছটি, তাদের পরম যত্নে গাছে এখনো ফুল ফোটে, ফল ধরে। ৫০০ বছরের এই আদি গাছে আশ্রয় পেতে বাসা বাঁধে পাখি। তেঁতুল জাতের বিবেচনায় দাবি করা যেতে পারে এটিই দেশের প্রাচীন তেঁতুল গাছ। স্থানীয়রা জানান, গাছটি ঐতিহাসিক তেভাগা আন্দোলন ও সাঁওতাল বিদ্রোহের সাক্ষী। প্রতি বছর প্রজনন মৌসুমে অন্তত কয়েক’শ বক বাসা বাঁধে এ গাছে। ডিম পাড়ে ও বাচ্চা ফোটায়। ছানাগুলো বড় হয়ে এক সময় উড়ে চলে যায়। এভাবেই চলে এখানকার বকের জীবনচক্র। এ গ্রামের কেউ বক শিকার করে না। পুরো প্রজননকাল নিরাপদে কাটায় বকগুলো। প্রাচীন তেঁতুল গাছটি দেখেতে প্রায়ই দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে লোকজন আসে শুড়লা গ্রামে।  আরো পড়ুন
