6 magnitude quake jolts Nepal

A strong earthquake was felt in the surrounding areas including Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
The epicenter was reported at 5:19 a.m. local time on Wednesday, with a magnitude of 6 and 10 kilometers below the earth's surface, according to the country's Seismological Center (NSC).
The epicenter was reported below the Ramchi area of Sindhupalchok district in Kathmandu. The area is about 100 km east of Kathmandu near the Chinese-Tibetan border. Read more
