Covid-19 death toll edges 927,000 globally

The death toll from coronavirus edges 927,000 and the number of infections exceeds 29,107,000 in 215 countries and territories around the globe.

According to worldometer, so far, 926,910 people have died from the deadly virus infection out of 29,107,970 coronavirus cases across the world. However, a total of 20,947,030 have recovered from the virus. 

The United States still tops in the list in terms of both infections and deaths having 6,695,316 people infected with the virus. Of these, 198,293 have died in the country.  Read more
