Oxford resumes coronavirus vaccine trial

The third-stage trials of a coronavirus vaccine being developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University will resume after getting the green light from safety watchdogs.

The late-stage trials of the vaccine were suspended last week due to a reported side effect in a patient in the UK.

AstraZeneca on Tuesday said the studies were being paused while it investigated whether the adverse reaction was linked with the vaccine. Read more
